Romania makes new record in Euro 2024. They created a new record when they beat Ukraine 3:0 in their group stage opener.
The match which held at the Allianz Arena in Munich was the first game of group E and thus, both teams’ first game in Euro 2024.
Nicolae Stanciu opened the scoring on 29 minutes with a sweet drive from just outside the box, after he was set up by Denis Man.
Two second half strikes in 10 minutes put the game beyond Ukraine’s reach.
Razvan Marin hit a right footed drive that fizzed past Ukraine keeper Andrily Lunin on 53 minutes, shortly after Mykhailo Murdryk had his shot blocked from an Olekzander Zinchenko pass.
Denis Dragus then secured the resounding win and all three points, slotting home from close range following a well taken corner.
The outcome of the match means that Romania won their 2nd ever match in Euros history.
